| Pick your niche and stick to it. If you don't know your niche, then explore, but when you find it, stick to it. Become very experienced in your niche and add a bit to it by extending that knowledge to related niches. You don't need to know everything; you need to know everything about your particular niche (and a little about the related areas). |

| I'm still between ASP.NET and PHP, that's why it confuses me... haha.. which one do you think I should go first I'd personally more interested with ASP.NET for now, but I don't have ASP.NET web server though, I only have Linux based that supports PHP... haha...Last edited by TeraTask : 07-01-2007 at 10:44 PM. | I'd recommend PHP. ASP can be run on Linux/Apache, but I'm not sure how. |

| One way and one way only. By doing it. Do not confuse learning a 'programming notation', also called a 'programming language', with learning to programme. |

![]() learning to program != learning a programming language...? hmm... ![]() Learning to program with a programming language, but it's also learning a programming language at the same time XD |

| Learning to program usually means learning logic flow and stuff, things that are present in any programming language in some form or another. There are tools such as Microsoft Visio that allow you to create flowcharts detailing logic and control flow. However, it isn't actually a programming language. ![]() I'm sure there is a deeper meaning behind Konr's words, but I don't feel like trying to figure it out right now. LOL |

| Learn to program: like rpgfan3233 said, it is about logic and problem solving and also technique on programming. It is really important, and there is no limit of learning it. The more you programming the more it earn. Learn programming langauge: Learn about the syntax of language and feature that langauge provide. For example: Variable, Class, Function.... I think this is what Konr mean, but it is better to explain by Konr because I am unclear too maybe there is deeper meaning behind it.... |
