Hey,

I am just wondering how to add a text box to my app, i have a window made but just need to know how to make the text box and how do i position it etc, i have found its another 'window' in effect but i do not know how to create it.

It would also be great if you could tell me how to make a command button also.

well in VB controls/objects/components are all the same thing so i guess its same here, controls mean text box, command button etc

the first one would be within your class but outside of the method, since it's an instance variable. You would want to put the second code once you created the window (panel).. and add this Textbox to your panel

I personally haven't tried it myself on C++, but that's what I would do in Java too

that part is called method. And this time, it's specifically called:

main method

I'm not sure with C++, but in Java, we will only have 1 main method that will call objects

Yeah in C++ theres only one as far as i know, just need to learn more about it i guess.
