Basic Qualifications

A bachelor of science degree (a bachelor of applied science degree will NOT be accepted) in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or other job related degree from an accredited college or university plus a minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.

At least 3 years experience with one or more of the following: digital television Settop Box Architecture MPEG DSL OCAP Real Time Operating Systems Signal Processing Embedded Software Development IP Networking.
3+ years experience using C/C++

Department Description

At Motorola Acadia Labs we facilitate the development and implementation of Interactive HDTV and SDTV solutions such as Program Guides Video On Demand (VOD) Switched Digital Video Personal Video Recording (PVR) and Home Network Video Distribution. Other ITV applications include Internet Access gaming targeted advertising e-mail and Commerce Applications.

Our state of the art labs feature Cable Headend equipment Satellite and Terrestrial Broadcast receivers as well as RF signal and MPEG analysis tools.
