[SOLVED] programming in Visual Basic drag and drop?

i want to drag a picture by the mouse without having to hold the mouse left button down. I also would like to know how i can rotate a picture in the program. Thirdly i need to know how to drag the object while keeping it in a specified square without the user being able to see it.

You need at least one mouse click event to select the image so it moves with the cursor.

You can then write a simple set of instructions that sets the position of the image in your form to be the same as the cursor's position until a second click.

You can use the System.Drawing namespace in VB.NET to manipulate images.

You toggle the visibility property of the image to false, and check the position of the cursor / image in the form so that it does not exceed the boundaries of your square; that is most easily accomplished by using the Point property.
