[SOLVED] Can Visual Basic programs be imported into Dreamweaver?

I created a program in Visual Basic 6.0 and was wondering if it would be in any way possible to load this program into a Dreamweaver MX 2004 document?

no, but you can re-make the program through VBScript. it's similar to Visual Basic but makes it a little more friendly to HTML

VB can not be used on websites, like the last post said you can use VBScript.

Or you could port it to a VB ASP.NET Page

Actually VB can be used on websites.

You can create the program as an ActiveX DLL and instantiate it as an object with Set objectname = (server.)createobject("DLLobject.classname"). You can then use the public properties and methods defined in the dll.

Or you can create an IIS application that runs in the context of the webserver.

I think anything can be imported as long as if the code within the file is ASCII. But I don't think you'll be able to run it there as you run Flash or looked at an HTML page.

Load it yes, parse the data - probably not. You can try an ascii editor or something similar to view the raw data if you want. Are you trying to load like an OCX like Flash? if it's a COM Object, it and exposes the correct methods, it can be loaded
