| [SOLVED] Most of the SQL commands are not working in SQL Server 2000.Plz Help? I'm connecting through windows authentication and not through username and password and Most of the commands like create table,ltrim,rtrim,lpad,rpad are not working in SQL Server 2000.What's wrong with it?Does SQL Server not support these basic commands. For example when i run this create statement i get the following error : 1.) create table deepak( name varchar2, age number); Server: Msg 2715, Level 16, State 7, Line 1 Column or parameter #1: Cannot find data type varchar2. 2.) I have created this table gowtham when I use lpad in this i get the following error. select lpad(name,10,'a') from gowtham Server: Msg 195, Level 15, State 10, Line 1 'lpad' is not a recognized function name. 3.) While using Lpad Server: Msg 174, Level 15, State 1, Line 1 The ltrim function requires 1 arguments. I have my Test in my company in 1 week and i hwant practice in SQL SERVER. Plz Help? |
