image map + music

ok im using an image map over an image of an album cover. And when u click a track name off the cover id like it to open the file (.mp3). Everything works fine but is there a way that if i have a music player on the page it will play it straight through that?

Well, do you want the music player on the web? Then you probably might want to switch to some other server side language, and integrate that with Flash... otherwise, you could give the *.mp3 file and let them play it from their own music player..

hmm i guess now ill jsut have them open it in there own.. but i would like to try and figure out how to intergrate with flash cuz id rather have the player right on the web so that all the tracks are located on a playist thru the player.. then when they click the track(imagemap) have it direct to that track in the player.. if that makes sense.. but thanks for the help tho

Helloword, how do should i go about this.. because id would much rather have a basic flash player on the site which allows the music to be played thru that rather then making the visitor open an external app
