| Rainbow Media Singapore - Lead Artist Rainbow S.p.A. (Rainbow S.p.A.) is a leading international company in the global cinema and television industry. Rainbow Animation Studio, headquarter in Italy, is the largest award winning studio in Europe with offices in Holland and America. Thanks to its successful creation: WinxClub and Monster Allergy, Rainbow is coming to Singapore. For its upcoming Game Studio located in Singapore, Rainbow is looking for enthusiastic and passionate talents to join its team for the development of a high budget video/on-line game: Lead Artist RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Works closely with Executive Producers and team leads even from Italy to manage the development of game in Singapore; from pre-production to final product release, to meet budgets, schedules and quality benchmarks. 2. Schedules and delegate the creation and maintenance of art assets to the team's artists as required by the Production staff. 3. Proactively identifies project risks and proposes solutions when issues arise while working with team members to produce the best quality game achievable within constraints. 4. Verifies that art assets are completed on schedule and meet the requirements of the target platform. 5. Works closely with design, production and code departments to help define visual style and fulfill art production requirements. 6. Develops, masters and maintains knowledge of the development tools and processes, target platform requirements, and set up the production pipeline. 7. Understands advantages and limitations of target hardware and develop strategies for maximizing platform performance. 8. Maintains familiarity with other in-house development tools to encourage the collaborative use of existing technology whenever possible. 9. Provides on-going training and support to art team on utilized software tools. 10. Assists in the development of concept materials and production designs as required. 11. Ensures that the visual style established by and with the Art Director is respected. 12. Collaborates with the the HR department and the executive board to hire new team members. REQUIREMENTS: * 3+ years experience in similar role, with at least one completed and published commercial title; * Excellent fine art skills with broad knowledge of illustration, art design, and animation; * Excellent creative skills. Demonstrated ability to innovate while working within established IP, design, visual style and technical limitations; * Demonstrated experience with 3D modeling using high end 3D art package like Maya, 3DSMax or other 3D packages and texturing using Adobe Photoshop; * Solid understanding of video game art production pipeline, development practices and game engines; * Highly responsible, self-directed, conflict resolution and problem solver with a passion to contribute to a successful company; * Ability to work closely and constructively with other department leads; * Good project and time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, risk assessment, problem solving, multiple task, meet deadlines and multi team co-ordination experience; * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to think out of the box, creative and innovative; * Highly organize and excellent co-ordination skills to work with team members even from Italy; * Absolute passion for playing and making computer games; * Love high energy, fast and dynamic environment; * Able to travel between Singapore and Italy if it's needed; * Highly and result motivated, confident and independent.
