John Cleese was in Doctor Who in a cameo playing an Art Gallery Visitor in part 4 of "City of Death" (during the Tom Baker years). He also appeared in the documentary "Doctor Who: Thirty Years in the Tardis", a special video documentary filmed to mark the 30th anniversary of the programme.
