Hyperlink with php variable in them questions

I want to know how do you put a variable in to the link below

Code:

<?php
    echo"<a href='http://www.yourlink.com' target='_blank'>Your Link </a>";
?>

I have a bunch pages that differ by its number like 1,2,3,4 in $pagenumber

how do i insert $page into the hyperlink to make into http://www.yourlink.com/$pagenumber.php with 1.php,2.php,3.php, 4.php

ALso how do I add the number to the "your link' too

You do the following:

echo "<a href='http://www.yourlink.com/ " + $pagenumber + ".php'> Your Link </a>";
?>

In PHP, you're suppose to use dot ( . ) to connect the string together, so it's suppose to be like this:

PHP Code:

  <?php
$pagenumber = "page1";
echo "<a href='http://www.yourlink.com/ " . $pagenumber . ".php'> Your Link </a>";
?>

The link will link it to page1.php
