Well, I've been messing with OpenGL for the last few days and I decided to try and make a .obj loader. Well, now it's working pretty good, here's a few shots with loading times and vertex and face count, the furthur down the page, them more complex the models get. The loading time is the amount of time it takes to read the .obj file and make it renderable.
Cube:
Vertex: 8
Faces: 12
Loading Time: 0.01 Seconds
Cone:
Vertex: 34
Faces: 64
Loading Time: 0.029 Seconds
Girl
Vertex: 475
Faces: 946
Loading Time: 0.44 Seconds
Twig/Wierd thing
Vertex: 3382
Faces 1128
Loading Time: 0.714 Seconds
Flying Spaghetti Monster:
Vertex: 130k
Faces: 110K
Loading Time: 65 seconds
Screenshot not available, model was too big to fit on screen!
Not bad for a 14 year old :D
