| Well, I've had some little experiences on the past in Torque Game Development. I think it's really interesting when you're looking at their gaming conscept, it's much simpler than what you thought to just create a game!!! Torque Game Engine and Torque Game Builder can be downloaded at: GarageGames There'll be a FREE trial that you can download there. I'm not sure that it will work with Vista yet, but hopefully the new version will. I've tried it last time with my Vista box, and it didn't work as I expected when I was in Windows XP. But you can still try it on yours.. **miracle does happen**The difference between Torque Game Engine (TGE) and Torque Game Builder (TGB) is just basically one of them is 3D game programming, while the other one is only 2D game programming. Of course you will need better math at 3D game programming, because there will be one more axis you'll have to deal with... tha "z" axis ![]() Anyways, the most interesting part about this program is that it is built based on Tribes 2 Game Engine, if you know that game? That's a multiplayer game, just like Counter Strike. And, GarageGames is a former team that built Tribes 2. TGB and TGE is using the conscept of Drag and Drop game making so much, that it is a lot easier for a programmer to just program a game. Each of the images that you drop on the screen would be an object. You can setup different things with the object, name them, and set up the collision particles!!! I'm not trying to advertise, I just want to share some of my experiences with this program, that's worth to try. I was about to buy it, but I'm waiting for the newest version that hopefully will be compatible with Windows Vista ![]() |

| You can get the engine to work on vista, I think you need the most up-to-date drivers. |
