Does anybody know if I can use Apache to run Perl on my local machine..? I'm also using XAMPP, is there a way to configure Perl on XAMPP? thanx a lot

You shouldn't need to with XAMPP as it come ready configured, all you need to do is place the perl/CGI file inside the /cgi-bin/ folder, if you have changed the websites default location you may wish to change this folder in the config also, then it will be easier to save files etc...

How do you access cgi-bin folder, since if you type localhost it will direct you to htdocs folder..?

http://localhost/cgi-bin/ that will work unless you have changed something in config file, if you want to save things into that folder and you can't find it, the way you will find it is to go to your htdocs folder and then go back to the previous folder, without looking i think this folder contains the phpmyadmin folder and such along with cgi-bin which is the one you want.
