Icon13 [Tutorial] Vista Background [PH][EZ]

Tutorial - Vista Background - Photoshop - Easy

Hey, well I felt this would be helpful for some people who have a hard time picking a background color and making it look good... (I have that problem)

My Result:

Alright well first you are going to want to pick your background color. I used blue as the background color to make mine.[Lighter Colors Usually Work Beter](Choose any color - Red, Green, Blue, ect).

Ok so create a new file 760x770 px. Create a new layer, delete background layer. Fill the layer with selected color.

Now create a new layer, select the brush tool and make the foreground color white. Now paint something like what I have:

Now goto Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur
Set radius to 36 then click ok.
Now just set the layer as an overlay... sometimes it looks ugly, if so the use soft light or something else.

This usualy will look good in the end when all is said and done. I don't really like this type of background, but I geuss if you really are in a bind it could help.
