you could always use a boot up linux to get the basics of it, i used SLAX its good for learning basic thing and comes with a program that runs windows applications already! (yes its wine)
if you have a USB you can put the files on there and use a boot up CD to boot from the USB (way i did it) or you can just have one single boot up CD i think.
